New Videoconferencing equipment makes it even easier to bring teams together
Since St Austell Conference Centre reopened, we’ve received some really positive feedback on everything we’ve put in place to enable people to safely meet in-person. As people begin to feel more familiar with the new restrictions, we’ve seen an increased number of bookings from people who want to bring their teams together.
A few people have told us they are getting tired of exclusively meeting virtually. However, we’ve seen a significant demand for hybrid meetings; where some participants attend in-person and are joined remotely by colleagues or speakers – some of which live far away or are unable to leave home.
That’s why we’ve upgraded our professional videoconferencing setup, which is available free of charge for your meeting (subject to availability).
At the heart of the system is a fully-controllable HD camera, which can either capture the entire room or focus on individuals. Meanwhile, multiple-microphones can be placed around the room, ensuring everyone can be heard with ease.
We have also recently upgraded our entire WIFI system and have superfast fibre connections into the building, which means that you’re not struggling with constant buffering.
You can either plug in your own laptop, or use one of ours – our team will make it as simple as possible. The new system is compatible with most popular videoconferencing platforms, including Skype, Zoom, Facetime and Microsoft Teams.
So whether you’re looking for a catchup with a handful of people, or a training session, interview, strategy or board meeting with a larger group – the quality of the picture and sound are so good, you’ll feel like you’re in the same room.
Get in touch today to see how we can bring your event to life – both in-person and virtually.
